Jennifer Bennett
Owner/Speech-Language Pathologist
MEd, MS, CCC-SLP

Jennifer received her master's degree in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). 

Prior to becoming an SLP, she worked as a middle school and high school Spanish and history teacher. In addition to her Master of Science, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in foreign languages and a Master of Education degree. 

Jennifer has experience working with both children and adults in various settings such as public schools, rehabilitation hospitals, early intervention, and acute care. Her interests include articulation and phonology disorders, traumatic brain injury, feeding and swallowing, and early intervention. Jennifer is a trained FEES (fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing) provider and is certified in Hanen's "It Takes Two to Talk" program. She has also received additional training in Orton-Gillingham based structured literacy interventions.

 

In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and two dogs Benji and Pippa.
