Special Education Eligibilities
There are 13 categories of disability under IDEA. They are often referred to by their abbreviations. The state of Nevada uses the following eligibilities (Nevada Department of Education Eligibility Forms). 

AUT or ASD - Autism Spectrum Disorder

DD - Developmental Delay
ED - Emotional Disturbance
HI - Hearing Impairment
ID - Intellectual Disability
MD or MI - Multiple Disabilities or Multiple Impairments
OI - Orthopedic Impairment 
OHI - Other Health Impairment or Health Impairment
SLD - Specific Learning Disability 
SLI - Speech or Language Impairment
